The CIL system uses coconut shell activated carbon for gold adsorption. Carbon is advanced counter-current to slurry flow, ensuring maximum gold loading. Key equipment includes vibrating screens for carbon-pulp separation, air lift pumps for carbon transfer, and dewatering screens. The loaded carbon is processed through desorption electrolysis system at high temperature and pressure. Gold recovery from eluate achieves over 99 percent purity. Complete system includes acid washing and thermal regeneration units for carbon reuse. Suitable for large scale gold mining operations.
