Features
Sensor & Functionality: The WHOOP MG includes medical-grade capabilities such as a continuous ECG-based heart screener and blood pressure insights. The 5.0 tracks core fitness, recovery, and stress metrics but does not feature these specific medical-grade tools.
Band Compatibility: Due to a smaller device size, WHOOP 5.0 and MG bands are completely incompatible with older WHOOP 4.0 bands.
ECG Requirements: While you can use standard 5.0 bands with the MG device, taking an ECG reading requires a specialized MG-specific band, which features a scalloped clasp and conductive coating.
