Aluminized heat resistant sleeves are protective coverings (often tube or sleeve-shaped) made from a base fabric that is coated or laminated with a reflective aluminium (or aluminized) surface.

-Base Material: Usually fiberglass (or sometimes aramid / Kevlar, silica)
-Coating: Aluminized film or aluminium foil
-Reflectivity: Reflects ≈ 90–95%+ of radiant heat
-Continuous Operating Temperature: ~ 232 °C (450°F) for many fibreglass versions
-Peak / Short-Term Temperature: Up to ~ 537 °C (1000°F) for some types
High‐Temperature Base Fabric Rating: Up to ~ 648 °C (1200°F) for some sleeves.
-Wall Thickness: Example: 0.635 mm
Closure Types: Sewn, Velcro, or zipper / snap versions
