Responsibilities
Dispensing Support: Counting tablets, measuring liquids, and packaging medications under direct supervision. They label prescriptions accurately with drug names, dosages, and instructions. Inventory Management: Stocking shelves, tracking expiration dates, and unpacking deliveries. They report low stock levels to maintain a seamless supply of critical medicines. Administrative Duties: Processing insurance claims, maintaining accurate patient profiles, answering phones, and managing prescription records. Requirements & Skills
Education: A certificate or diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences or a closely related allied health field from an accredited institution. Licensure: Proper registration or licensing with the national pharmacy council or relevant regulatory board. Background: Basic clinical training or internship experience within a hospital or retail pharmacy setting. Key Skills Pharmaceutical Knowledge: Familiarity with generic and brand drug names, basic medical terminology, and fundamental dosage calculations. Detail Orientation: High precision in reading prescriptions, labeling, and verifying expiration dates to ensure patient safety. Customer Service & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to handle patient inquiries with empathy and collaborate smoothly with the healthcare team. Minimum Qualification Requirements
